The Cleburne Education Foundation supports CISD students and teachers in their continuing journey toward excellence through grants, some of which are made possible by the generous donors to Nashville Lights.   These outstanding songwriters and artists promise an evening of pure pleasure as they perform their own creations and share the stories behind the music made hits by the top country music artists.

In addition to having all these outstanding songwriters and artists performing, the show will be opened by up-and-coming Texas singer/songwriters. To do that we are holding an open mic audition, where we will listen to a sample of your music to determine if you will get to join our lineup. We will only be picking one performer, so make sure to bring your best song with you.

“CEF’s Nashville Lights Open Mic night is an amazing opportunity for local singer/songwriters. First of all, you get to sing in front of three judges who know talent and spent many years in the music business. Second, the crowd is great and really into the performances. And best of all, if you win, you get to be the opening act for some of the biggest singer/songwriters in Nashville at Nashville Lights! This is a remarkable chance for someone.”
